What is HITOKOTO?

“HITOKOTO” is a simple app for creating a board and sharing it with others.

“HITOKOTO” is a Japanese word that means “a word” or “a sentence”.

Originally, this app was designed to be used as a simple signage system, but it’s up to your imagination!

How to use

1. Create a board

• Create a board from the HITOKOTO.
• Then, you will get a board edit page like https://hitokoto.vision/xxxxxx/xxxxxx/.
• Edit the message and theme of the board.
• Publish the board by clicking the “Publish” button.

Important

• Save this edit page URL. You will need it to edit the board later.
• Don’t share this page URL with others. Anyone who knows this URL can edit the board.

2. Share the board

• Copy the board URL by clicking the “Copy” button on the board edit page.
• You will get a board URL like https://hitokoto.vision/xxxxxx/.
• Open that URL in your browser on a device that you want to display the board.
• Or, you can share the board URL with others by email, chat, etc.

3. Edit the board

• Open the board edit page that you saved in step 1.
• Edit the message and theme of the board and publish it again.
• Then, the board will be updated automatically on all devices that are displaying it.
